Lockaway Storage offers Nokē Smart Entry at select Texas and Colorado locations. Some facilities have it at the gate, some on individual units, and some on both. Call the facility you're interested in or check your options when you rent online, and we'll tell you exactly what's set up there.
How It Works
Rent your unit
Your account gets linked to the lock when you sign your lease. If the facility has a Nokē gate, you're set up for that too.
Download the Nokē app
It's free on iPhone and Android. The first time you open it, a setup wizard walks you through pairing your phone.
Walk up and tap
Open the app, pick your unit or gate, and the lock opens over Bluetooth. The unit doesn't need Wi-Fi or a cell signal, because the phone and lock talk directly to each other.
Every open and close is logged
The app keeps a time-stamped record of your access, so you always have a clear history.

About Nokē
Nokē is a smart-lock platform made by Janus International specifically for self storage. It was built for roll-up doors, outdoor weather, and long battery life, and it's been used at thousands of facilities. Because the lock and your phone connect locally, it keeps working when the facility Wi-Fi or your signal doesn't.
What You'll Find at Our Facilities
Keyless entry isn't set up the same way everywhere, so here's what you might see:
- Keyless gate: the facility entrance opens with the Nokē app, and units may still use padlocks.
- Keyless unit: your unit has a Nokē smart lock, and the gate may be a traditional one.
- Full keyless: both the gate and your unit open with the app.
- Traditional access: a conventional gate and padlock, available at most Lockaway facilities.

Is Keyless Entry Right for You?
It's a good fit if you:

If a padlock works better for you, that's fine too. Keyless is an option, not a requirement.
