Samuel Clemens High School

Eight minutes to the south of our facility is Samuel Clemens High School, where preparing students for success is the highest goal. Here, the top priority is to ensure all graduates are ready for college, the military, or a career.

Making sure all students feel welcome and included is also important, and part of preparing them for success. The school has a program called Not on Our Campus (NOOC), which protects student against anti-gay harassment, racism, and all other types of intolerant behavior. NOOC encourages everyone to think inclusively.

For students who want to join the military after graduation, SCHS has a military student transition consultant, Tina Barber. Mrs. Barber helps students make a smooth transition from high school to military life.

We’d like to highlight two parks within five minutes of our facility, to the southeast. The first is Veterans Memorial Park. This site has logs of fields and green spaces, a covered picnic area, and a playground for the kids. The other is Saratoga Playground, which includes play structures and swimming pools. It’s a fun place to take your children, whether they want to swing and slide, or cool off in a pool.
