Lockaway Storage - Nash: Customer Appreciation Day Follow-Up

Nothing goes together better than sidewalk sales and storage facilities, right?

Wrong. Nothing goes together better than sidewalk sales, storage facilities, and customer appreciation days! We think that having garage sales at our facilities is a great way to show customers we value their business by helping them make a little extra cash selling items straight from their unit.

On Saturday, June 2nd from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, Lockaway Storage on New Boston Road celebrated their customers by holding their own mini-sidewalk sale. While only a few tenants signed up to sell items from their units, they all had tables full of household items ready to be purchased. Of course, tenants who weren’t interested in selling items were welcome to shop around for the best deals! So it was really a win-win situation for everyone.

The self storage team at Nash provided everyone with tasty snacks including chips, cookies, and donuts. They also had water and soda which helped everyone stay nice and cool on the sunny day.

Overall the tenants selling went home happy with more money in their pocket and fewer items in their unit. We also know for a fact at least one person went home very happy after purchasing a giant horse plushie! It just goes to show you that you never know what you may find at these events.

The Nash team really did a great job making the event a success, but they couldn’t do it without the wonderful customers that the event is meant for!  Next time you see a customer appreciation event advertised, don’t hesitate to go! There might be a giant plush horse in it just for you.
