Renter Spotlight: Dennis Maulden’s Antique Cars

Lockaway Storage knows a storage unit can house a lot more than your prized possessions. People from all walks of life use self storage to build businesses, practice hobbies, make room at home and so much more. 

For Dennis Maulden, antique cars are more than just a hobby and passion, they’re a family affair.

“I only have two antiques myself” Maulden said. “My family, however, has several. I’ve got a couple of brothers and a dad that have 55, 56, 57 T-Birds, 36 Fords. That’s been more radicalized, like a ZZ Top kind of thing.”

Maulden himself has a 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL convertible and a 1967 Ford Mustang convertible.

The Galaxie was given to Maulden by his father as a reward for getting a scholarship to college. Talk about motivation! The car was brought to San Antonio from California and Maulden’s family is the sole owner.

When they aren’t being stored in one of Lockaway Storage’s San Antonio self storage units, you can find them cruising the open road with the top down.
