Lockaway Storage 1604: Block Party Follow-Up

Lockaway Storage has a new facility “on the block”. Located at 6923 W Loop 1604 N Ste 125 in San Antonio, Texas, this brand new Lockaway Storage facility opened four months ago and hosted a grand opening block party to help welcome their new community of renters to the neighborhood.

The block party ran from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and featured sizzling hot dogs and chips. While serving up lunch alone would have been enough to gather the community, the Manager at Lockaway Storage - 1604, went above and beyond.

The new facility is somewhat unique in that it has office space for rent on site. For that reason, they decided to advertise for the current businesses leasing office space by having them participate in the block party.

“Every office tenant provided some sort of door prize. The idea was that when people came in they signed in and that’s kind of how they will register for the door prizes and then we shared that information with our office renters,” our team member said. “It was good for us and good for everyone because those attending the event had the chance to win a prize and we can follow up later to see if anyone needs our services.”

Almost 100 people attended the event and were able to not only enjoy food and door prizes, but also face painting, a bounce house, and fun games hosted by some of the office tenants. They also opened up some of the units and listed their prices on the outside, so guests could take a look at all the options the facility has to offer. Needless to say, the event was a great success!
